Laparoscopic Surgery

Keyhole gynaecological surgery with smaller incisions, less pain and a faster return to normal life.

What we offer

  • Ovarian cyst removal
  • Myomectomy (fibroid removal)
  • Endometriosis surgery
  • Ectopic pregnancy management
  • Diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy

Where surgery is needed, a laparoscopic (keyhole) approach is used wherever possible — a camera and fine instruments go in through a few small cuts instead of one large incision. This means smaller scars, less pain, a lower infection risk and a quicker recovery than open surgery. Many procedures are day-care: you go home the same day or the next morning.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the recovery after laparoscopy?

Most patients go home within 24–48 hours and return to light routine activity within a week, depending on the procedure.

Will I have a big scar?

No. Laparoscopy uses two or three small cuts, usually less than a centimetre each, instead of one large incision — so scarring is minimal.
