IUI Treatment

A simple, low-intervention first step in fertility care — timed intrauterine insemination with ultrasound cycle monitoring.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1 Cycle tracked with ultrasound
  2. 2 Trigger injection at the right time
  3. 3 Sperm placed in the uterus
  4. 4 Pregnancy test about two weeks on

What we offer

  • Ultrasound follicular monitoring
  • Ovulation trigger timing
  • Semen preparation in-house
  • Painless, few-minute procedure

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is often the first fertility treatment we recommend when the fallopian tubes are open and sperm parameters are adequate. The cycle is tracked with ultrasound, and the procedure itself takes only a few minutes with no anaesthesia.

Frequently asked questions

How is IUI different from IVF?

IUI places prepared sperm directly into the uterus around ovulation. It is less invasive and lower cost than IVF, and is often tried first when test results are favourable.

Does IUI hurt?

No. It feels similar to a Pap smear — a little pressure, over in a few minutes. Most women go straight back to their day after.
