Dr. Amisha Narottam Contractor is a gynaecologist, obstetrician and fertility specialist, and the founder of Amma Hospital in Chala, Vapi. She has been in medical practice since 2007 and has worked as a consultant gynaecologist since 2012.
Her work covers the full range of women’s health — IVF and fertility treatment, high-risk pregnancy and delivery, laparoscopic (keyhole) gynaecological surgery, cosmetic gynaecology and everyday gynaecological care. She is a member of the Association of Indian Cosmetic Gynaecologists (AICG).
Patients consistently describe her as calm, unhurried and easy to talk to. She sees her patients personally at every visit and explains each option in plain language before any treatment begins.
Dr. Amisha N Contractor leads all obstetric, gynaecological and fertility care at Amma Hospital. Anaesthesia, neonatal (NICU) and radiology cover for surgery, delivery and newborn care is available on site, round the clock.
